More pix... because you like them

I just had a few more pix of my beautiful daughter that I wanted to share. I am slightly biased due to her bib. But, what can I say, she loves me!

I think this picture is Elise's "not-so-sure" face.
(I love her cute, round head)

Just a few new pix

Here are just a few pictures from the last week. I just couldn't resist the one of Elise's backside. She has no booty - an Erwin trait, certainly! Take note that she is sitting independently! It is hard to balance on that no-booty.... The others are Aunt Christi and Elise - we travelled to Indy last weekend to celebrate Christi's birthday (in true Simmons fashion - only a month late)! Christi is a natural with babies.

We love spring!

Spring is in full effect in Bloomington, and we can't get enough! We're enjoying going to the park, taking walks, and basically spending as much time as we can outside.
Working from home is going well; Elise and I are both happier! My great accomplishment since I've been home is getting that little girl on a nap schedule (Wes is rolling his eyes right now). I know, everything doesn't have to be scheduled, but for me, it provides a lot of freedom knowing what to expect. Of course, although I've only been a parent for five months, that is long enough to know that when you think you have something figured out, it is about to change! Other new things for Elise: she has started enjoying eating solids opposed to just tolerating them. She eats cereal every morning (Cap'n Crunch... just kidding) and cereal and vegies at night. Also, as you'll see in a couple of the pictures, she is very close to sitting up on her own. Enjoy the pictures.

She's Gettin' So Big!!

So, we haven't posted videos in awhile. My apologies. I'm kinda lazy when it comes to taking them off the camera and uploading them. But, Elise is growing bigger and cuter every day. These videos will give you glimpse into the fun we are having. FYI: The video where you hear me yelling at Abby in the background is completely justified. She was trying to eat my sushi...bad dog! -Wes
